TWEEN EMPOWERMENT

Mondays at 4:20-5:15pm

4 Week Class Series: $60/athlete

Athletes learn how to squat, lift, lunge, push, pull, and carry safely. We develop movement patterns needed for strength and safety either on the sports field or just in life!

The focus is on constantly varied functional movement, physical strength and cardiovascular health; building our young athletes into capable, confident, kind people.

Constantly varied FUN-ctional movement!

Based on the principles of mechanics, consistency and then intensity, VashonStrong Teen and Tween Empowerment emphasizes good movement and BIG fun for these different age-groups.

Consistently good mechanics translate to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for tweens and teens Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on a young person’s academic growth.

Fun means we provide an active alternative to sedentary pursuits, which translates to all-around better health for our young people.

Our program is scalable for any experience level and accounts for the varied maturation status found in a class full of these age-groups. VashonStrong Teen and Tween Empowerment gives children a foundation of physical fitness to stay active throughout their lives.
