At VashonStrong, we’re committed to supporting your training, health, and long-term growth. Clear expectations help us stay fair, consistent, and focused on delivering great coaching and community.

Below are answers to our most common membership questions.


Where can I find my account information?

You can access your account details in the app:

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap the hamburger-style menu in the upper right corner

  3. Select “My Account”

There you’ll find your billing details, membership type, and usage history.


What group membership options are available?

We offer flexible membership levels to fit your schedule and goals:

  • 8 Classes / Month

  • 12 Classes / Month

  • 16 Classes / Month

  • Unlimited


How does billing work?

  • Memberships are billed every 30 days

  • Class passes do not roll over month to month

  • No credits, add-backs, or refunds for unused sessions

These policies help us maintain consistent coaching coverage and scheduling.


How do I cancel my membership?

  • 7 days’ notice is required

  • Cancellations apply to the next billing cycle if notice is not given

  • Requests must be sent to: gym@vashonstrong.com

We cannot process cancellations through text, social media, or in person.


What is InBody Week?

We offer free InBody scans for active members every quarter during “InBody Week.”

These take place:

  • First week of January

  • First week of April

  • First week of July

  • First week of October

We announce InBody Weeks in the newsletter and in the app.


How much do InBody scans cost outside of InBody Week?

  • Free during InBody Week (members only)

  • $45 for current subscription members (outside InBody Week)

  • $65 for punch card, and non-subscription members

You can book scans through our scheduling system.


What types of classes does VashonStrong offer?

WOD (Workout of the Day)

Closest to traditional “CrossFit.”
Features dynamic, compound movements performed at higher intensity.

Power Hour

Functional bodybuilding.
Focused on strength and muscle groups, without a cardio conditioning component.

Total Power

A 90-minute class focused on:

  • Powerlifting

  • Explosive movements

  • Jumping, sled pushes, and calisthenics

Fire & Iron / Barbell Betties

Women’s strength training program designed to support:

  • Increased strength

  • Bone density

  • Hormone regulation

Legends

Strength and conditioning for adults 70+.
Offered in 6-week cohorts only and not included in regular memberships.

Kettlebells & Core Conditioning

HIIT-style training with kettlebell complexes and core-focused movements.

Mobility

Stretching, foam rolling, and muscle activation to improve range of motion and recovery.


What is your personal training cancellation policy?

Because your coach reserves dedicated time for you:

  • 12 hours’ notice is required

  • Notice must be sent to gym@vashonstrong.com

  • Missed or late-canceled sessions may be charged in full

This helps our coaches maintain reliable schedules and availability.


Can I put my membership on hold?

Yes. We understand that travel, recovery, and life events happen.

Hold policies:

  • 2-week minimum per hold

  • $15 fee per 2-week period

  • No class or open gym access during hold (unless using drop-in)

  • Up to 8 holds per year

  • Requests must be sent at least 7 days before your next billing date

Memberships automatically resume when the hold ends unless requested otherwise.


What happens if I need to cancel a class?

If you’re registered and cannot attend, please cancel promptly in the app.

Our small-group format means your spot matters to both coaches and fellow members. Thank you for helping keep schedules running smoothly.
